Jaguara, which means female jaguar in Spanish, is a reinterpretation of an animal that has recurrently been portrayed in Latin American handcrafts because of its spiritual significance and exceptional survival skills. This deconstruction intends not only to open new ways of artisan representation in terms of form and gender sensitive content.
